This journey will lead the children from 2200BC in Egypt right up to 1940’s England. It is cultural history at its most exciting! They will learn about the American who convinced his audiences for 40 years that he was in fact a genuine Chinese conjurer, the woman that started the craze for pulling a rabbit from a hat and Harry Houdini’s death defying escapes!
The magician will then spend the rest of the day with individual classes teaching them how they can do magic. We provide enough equipment for every child in the class to try each trick at the same time, so the entire class can be taught together.
The children will learn simplified versions of tricks used by the worlds’ top magicians !
At least one other teacher will need to be present at all times and class sizes are generally limited to a maximum of 35 pupils. |
